The Marathon Resumes

Last Thursday saw the first delivery of our summer CSA share from Full Plate Farms. Hooray! We got radishes, hakurei turnips, lettuce, salad greens (from Remembrance Farm), kale, collard greens, baby arugula, fingerling potatoes, and garlic scapes.

The radish and turnip tops, along with the arugula and garlic scapes, have already found their way into a pasta dish with fresh tomatoes and a ricotta sauce, spiced with oregano and mint. The lettuce and salad greens were eaten over several meals with an orange/ginger/sesame dressing. And tonight I made a posole stew with the potatoes and kale.

That just leaves the collards. And only one day before the next delivery. We're right on schedule!
