The next step in my experimentation with drawing is to take the fractal-inspired images I made here and turn them into sculpted prints. I'm hoping to create a layered effect where the shapes in the drawings talk to the shapes in the folded paper. To keep the eye focussed on the linear aspects of the composition, I have toned down my color palette. And I have allowed the wood grain of the boards to show, which I think adds a subtle complexity to these pieces.
