Did I mention that making stencils is addictive? There are so many ways to arrange just a few shapes into a composition. And the real trick, I've found, is knowing when a piece is done.
This first one (left, 5" x 7") was not quite working until the very end, when I added the purple borders. That was the crucial touch, giving it the sense of depth it needed.
And for the one below (12" x 12"), the depth is literal; I mounted the image on a piece of weathered wood, with half-inch spacers to lift it off the surface, so it appears to float in mid-air.
