Fractal Abstraction @ Harper College

I am thrilled to be included in the 36th Annual National Juried Art Exhibition at Harper College in Palatine, IL. The piece that was selected is called Fractal Abstraction (16" x 9" x 1"). It's based on a random fractal image that I generated by computer. I shuffled the individual pixels of the image in a systematic way to arrange them into a grid, which I printed on watercolor paper using archival pigment inks. Finally, this print was cut and folded into squares and protruding pyramids and then mounted on weathered wood.
