Something new for me. This Sunday, March 18, at 4:00 pm, I will read a short essay about maps and information at Buffalo Street Books, our local co-operative bookstore. I'm one of seven readers in a Works In Progress Reading, which is a regular non-juried reading series of local writers reading from unfinished work. I've been wanting to start a new art project involving maps, and writing this essay has been a way of organizing my thoughts on the subject.
